Phil is a graduate of Helena High School and the University of Montana, with a degree in Business Finance. He is a director for the Montana Land Reliance and Meagher County Weed District, past director and current member of Montana Stockgrowers Association, current member of National Cattlemen’s Beef Association and Farm Bureau. Phil has served on the Montana Livestock Ag Credit Board since 1996. Phil & his wife, Joan, and family operate the Rostad & Rostad Ranch, a cow/calf/small grain operation near White Sulphur Springs.

J. D. RICE, CHOTEAU, VICE CHAIRMAN
Jay is a graduate of Choteau High School and received a degree in Ag Production from Montana State University. Jay is a member of the Montana Stockgrowers Association, National Cattleman’s Beef Association and member of American & Montana Angus Association. Jay has served on the Montana Livestock Ag Credit Board since 2001, the Teton Cooperative Reservoir Co., and Bynum Irrigation District. Jay & his wife, Linda, and family operate a cow/calf, commercial and registered Angus, operation near Choteau.

JOE BARRETT, AUGUSTA
Joe is a graduate of Augusta High School and Montana State University with a degree in Ag Production & Ag Economics. He is a member of Farm Bureau, Montana Taxpayers Assoc., Stewards of Range and Montana Water Resources. He also serves as President of the Augusta Fire Service Area. Joe and his wife, Maggie and family operate Barrett Land & Livestock, a cow calf operation near Augusta. Joe has served on the Montana Livestock Ag Credit Board since 2003.

MARK DAVIES, CHINOOK
Mark is a graduate of Chinook High School and received a degree in Animal Science from Montana State University. Mark is a member of the Montana Stockgrowers Assoc., National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, North Central Montana Stockgrowers and the Association of State Grazing Districts. He is a member and past director of the North Blaine Grazing District. Mark has served on the Board of Montana Livestock Ag Credit, since 1990. Mark & his wife, Yvonne, and family operate the Davies Ranch Co., a cow/calf operation near Chinook.

JOE ETCHART, GLASGOW
Joe is a graduate of Glasgow High School and Carroll College. He has served as president of the Montana and National Public Lands Council and as chairman of the Western Livestock Producer's Alliance. Joe has served on the board of the Montana Stockgrowers Association, was a charter member of the Governor’s Advisory Committee on Sportsman /Landowner Relations and currently is Chairman of the Board of Alpine Air Express. Joe has served on the Montana Livestock Ag Credit Board since 1985, participating in the Company’s extremely successful transition to independence. Joe and his wife, Patt, have four children and operate N3 Company near Glasgow, and are involved in a purebred Angus operation in Central Montana.

DALE JOHNSON, BELT
Dale is a graduate of Belt High School and received a degree in Ag Production from Montana State University. Dale is currently a member of the Montana Expo Park Advisory Board, a member and past director of Montana Stockgrowers Association and currently serves as the chairman of the Reef Committee. Dale is also a past member and director of the Foothills Livestock Assoc. & Cascade County Weed Board. Dale has served on the Board of Montana Livestock Ag Credit since 1993. Dale and his wife, Vickie, and family operate the Little Belt Creek Ranch, a cow/calf/yearling operation near Belt. |

STEVE MOORE, TWO DOT
Steve is a graduate of Harlowton High School and received a degree from Montana State University in Mechanized Ag. He is a member of the Wheatland County Farm Bureau, Two Dot Community Club and a director of Cream of the West. Steve is currently a director and member of the Wheatland County Stockgrowers. He also volunteers for the local fire department. Steve has served on the Board of Montana Livestock Ag Credit, Inc. since 2006. Steve and his wife, Susan, and family operate Moore Livestock, a cow/calf operation near Two Dot.

RANDY SMITH, GLEN
Randy is a graduate of Beaverhead County High School and received an Ag Production Degree from Montana State University. Randy is a member of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, a member and past director of the Montana Stockgrowers Association, and a member of the Southwestern Montana Stockman’s Association. Randy is also chairman of the Big Hole Watershed Committee, and has served as a state committeeman for FSA. Randy has served on the Board of Montana Livestock Ag Credit since 1996. Randy and his wife, Emily, and family operate Smith 6-S Livestock, a cow/calf operation near Glen. Randy & Emily have 3 children.

Ross is a graduate of Malta High School and attended Montana State University. Ross is a member of the Montana Stockgrowers Association, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, a member & past president of Phillips County Livestock Assn., and has served on the local school board. Ross has served on the Board of Montana Livestock Ag Credit since 1989. Ross & his wife, Karen, and family operate Tumblin T Partnership, a cow/calf operation near Malta. Ross & Karen have 4 children.
